Central Library

CREC Central Library is located in SIR CV RAMAN Block. The ultra modern Library has a well-established fully air-conditioned and a separate Information Centre. The Library Information centre is separate reading and reference section to serve the Undergraduate and Post graduate students, staff members and research scholars. The annual budget of our Central Library around 10 Lacs. The Central Library has a huge collection of 10000 Volumes and 4000 Titles, covering all major fields of science and engineering technology with international standards and resources.
The Library has subscribed for the e-journals package as per the AICTE Suggested IEEE, ASME, ASCE, IETE, IEI, DELNET, NDL and also subscribed for 93 National journals and 102 National technical magazines and General magazines. The Library provides the staff and students such as OPAC, Multimedia, Internet, and Proceedings, Reports and CD ROMs Collections. Separate reprographic facilities are available for photocopying of reference materials, journal articles and other printed materials.
We provide the NPTEL (National Program Technology Enhanced Learning) through online web and web video courses in Engineering and Humanities stream.
The library has an Institutional Membership with several external libraries such as, British Council Library, Anna University Library and DELNET, our Institution has an Institutional life membership in Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI), Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (IETE) and Instrument Society of India (ISI).
The College is providing 700 numbers of books (Each Semester) free of cost for the meritorious students (Top Rank Holders) of their own choice to develop their interest in studies and to become toppers continuously.
A Book bank is maintained for the deserving candidate. The library has separate standard library automation package, Auto Lib Integrated Library Management software Web based Software for their effective library services such as Issue, Return, Renewal and Reservation of resources.
Professional Librarians and Technical Assistants help the users with their information needs. The college Library committee is headed by the principal comprising of all Heads of the Departments and Student Representatives.
