Objectives:

The primary aim of IQAC is

  1. To develop a self sustaining eco system for Compos Mentis, stable and swift action to improve the academic  and administrative functioning of the institution.
  2. To align institute towards quality improvement through assimilation of quality cultute and imparting best practices at the institute level

Strategies:

IQAC is instrumental  to evolve and adopt mechanisms and procedure for

.  Ensuring quality and progressive performance of academic and administrative tasks.

.  adopting modern methods of teaching and learning

.  Credible evaluation process

.  Publishing research findings

.  Ensuring good support system and services for all the stake holders.

Functions and responsibilities:

.  Adopts quality assurance strategies and processes by conducting regular audits.

.  Active role in the process of accomplishing NAAC and NBA certifications

.  Improving the quality culture in the institution

.  Contributes in the professional development of the faculty members and instrumental development of the faculty members and instrumental in enhancing technical skills and keep them updated with the latest development.

Benefits and contributions:

    1. Sensitizing and training the faculty members of developing the syllabus content along with the preparation of COs for all the courses, incorporating Blooms Taxonomy levels.
    2. Conducting sessions for the faculty members on preparation of Lesson Plans for every course and for every semester
    3. Conducting the student satisfaction survey on teaching learning and providing the feedback to faculty members through the department HODs. This has facilitated subtle improvements not only in delivery of the content in the class rooms and also general teaching etiquettes.
    4. IQAC reviews also provided valuable feed back on the neceesity of continuous assesment of the student performance vis a vis outcome based education, which is reflected in terms of the sessional marks distribution and placing the same proposal in the boards of studies and academic councils.
    5. The feed back compiled by the IQAC cell on the general infrastructure has resulted in setting up of drinking water facility to all the floors and a project lab for the students
