About Department
EEE Aiming at fostering the demand of industry for high quality technical education, the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering was established during the inception of the institute in the year 2004 with an intake of 60 students. Based on its track proven records of Excellence, the dept. is accredited in 2011.
The department has well qualified and experienced professors, Associate professors with Ph.D qualification and Assistant Professors with M.Tech qualification and maintains sufficient faculty student ratio of 1:15. The department has well established laboratories, with adequate lab apparatus installed to cater the academic and industrial requirements.
The department has started Association of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (AEEE) in the year 2008 with a mission to develop technical excellence by conducting various competitions to students in technical, co- curricular and extra-curricular activities. Apart from this the department has got good placement record for its outgoing students in various leading software and core companies.
M. Tech (Power Electronics and Drives) is a two year full time post-graduate program introduced in the year 2012, approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) for the students who have a B.E / B. Tech degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The course is offered by the Department with highly qualified and experienced teaching faculty. Intake of the course is 36, selected through Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET) and Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).
Establishment: Aiming at nurturing the demand of industry for high quality technical education for Computer Science Engineers, the institute started the Four-Year B. Tech Course in CSE in 2004, with an intake of 60 seats. The intake has grown to 120 seats in 2005. The dept. also accredited in 2011.
