ECE Department
The Department of ECE of Chadalawada Ramanamma Engineering College (Autonomous)(CREC) was established in the year 2004 with an intake of 60 for UG Program and the present intake is 180. The Department is set with an Innovation lab, Research and Project Design Centre and out-fitted with National Instruments Excellence Centre (NI) for training and creating innovative projects using LABVIEW software. The department has well-established laboratories with adequate lab apparatus installed to cater the academic and industrial requirements.
The Electronics & Communication Engineering Department is one of the pioneering Departments of the Institution. The ECE Department has highly qualified faculty members engaged in teaching and research with the aim of achieving excellence in various fields. The Department of ECE is producing eminent scholars. Department has many doctorates with ample of research experiences in different fields such as VLSI, Microcontrollers, Digital Signal Processing, Image Processing, Antenna Design, etc. The faculty members have good exposure to modern technology by attending different programs and they are motivating the students for different competitive examinations, and students thus have good exposure to modern technology that are suitable for employability. Along with our experienced and technologically enhanced faculty members, the department also has relevant collaborations and industry-related technology courses.
The Department has started the Association of Electronics and Communication Engineers (ECHO) in 2006 with a mission to promote technical excellence by conducting various competitions to students in technical as well as extra-curricular activities and ECHO is changed to Apart from this the Department has got good placement for its outgoing students in various leading companies.
